Driven by a passion for taste and connecting people
In 2015, we launched the Johnny Doodle brand in a 2-by-2-meter kitchen. Driven by a passion for flavor and for bringing people together through delightful dining experiences, we developed our first bars. These were produced at our factory in Beverwaard. To meet growing demand, we built a modern, scalable factory in the Hoeksche Waard. Building on the foundation of VS Food and our love for food production, we combine craftsmanship, innovation, and market insight. Today, we help other brands bring their own chocolate dreams to life—whether it’s private label, white label, or fancy label.
Own production & high capacity
Our plant in Heinenoord has two production lines and three packaging lines, fully conditioned. The location is designed for growth, continuity and speed. Thanks to our location near Rotterdam, we can quickly connect with partners at home and abroad. Through our efficient processes and close cooperation with logistics partners, we guarantee reliable and timely deliveries.
Quality & certification
Our factory is BRC AA-certified and has an in-house quality team that monitors hygiene, consistency and quality assurance on a daily basis. We strictly follow current food safety standards and document everything to the highest standards.
Recipe development & ingredients
Thanks to market data, trend platforms such as Innova and input from consumers via social media, among others, we develop products that perfectly match the demand of today and tomorrow. Our in-house R&D department develops unique customized chocolate recipes. We have more than 200 readily available ingredients as well as an extensive tank farm to store recipes efficiently. Our in-house recipe is also available for customers who want to start quickly with lower volumes. From violet berry to wasabi, from rocky road to crackling sugar - or just classic with hazelnut: we make what fits your brand.

We specialize in solid chocolate products: bars, tablets, letters and seasonal shapes (such as St. Nicholas or Christmas). Shape choices are negotiable via a standard mold or a custom mold.
